Gear Up
A one-time upgrade that unlocks an alternate mode for some defenses, such as the Multi-Gear Tower. It has its own cost in gold and its own build time.

Supercharge
A separate, stronger level track for some defenses. Supercharge levels come after the normal maximum level and have their own cost and build time.
